Flavia Crisciotti is an architect and a postdoctoral fellow in Provenance Projected, sponsored by a Walter Benjamin grant. Flavia works on postwar museum architecture. Her current research investigates the afterlives of modern museum interiors, with particular attention on authorship, authenticity, and conservation of museum furnishings that were designed by Italian architects. Crisciotti studied architecture at Sapienza Università di Roma and defended her PhD dissertation Unframed Edges. Renaissance Masterworks and Italian Exhibition Architecture, 1930–1965, at the Technical University of Münich in 2024.
